Why are people overpaying for Miller?
Plus entire NHL knows Vegas is handcuffed cap wise

Way too much for Mitch and neither trade would happen VAN giving a 2nd for Zaitev and leafs not moving Liljgren for Miller

The entire league knows Toronto is handcuffed. Why is Van giving up a 2nd for a much inferior dman on a higher cap number and longer term????

He should be under $10M anything more and the Leafs can not really build a winner as the CAP is not going up next year and they will lose a player in the expansion draft

There is high interest in Zaitsev around the league, the perception of him on capfriendly is inaccurate

It's been reported that a handful of teams are interested in Zaitsev. If that really is true I have a hard time believing Zaitsev is just pure cap dump.

Dreger reported Oilers having interest..why? Because they want a D under long term control.
Zaitsev has value but only for the right team.

Zaitsev has value but only for the right team.


They have 7+ mil in cap space, 7 defensemen signed for 2019-2020, 18 players under contract, Bouchard, Bear, Samorukov and Jones in the minors, and just drafted a dman with the 8th OA pick.

Am I saying a trade can't be made?? No. A cap neutral trade?? Sure.
