I dunno...... scouts are beginning to cool somewhat on Liligren. Still a great prospect, but most are saying the ceiling isn't what it was thought to be. Now if DeMelo can be a sign and trade???? Maybe worth looking at with some trepidation.....

I would like to see Demelo in the blue and white just not sold on giving up a 20yr old first round pick yet. If we could get him with a package including Zaitsev go for it.

But it speaks volumes when a 22 year old breaking in says he won't sign an extension in Ottawa.

Just pointing out everything I have read says Sandin has passed Liligren on the development curve..... which maybe in part due to injury, but all the same......

Oh Ottawa is a nightmare and need to take on any cap they can.

Zaitsev has no say and asked for a trade so he goes where they want to send him. Ottawa gets Cap certainty with him moving forward. If I was them I would be looking to add him for that reason alone.
