I have left cap space since there is such a debate on Marners cap hit. Term doesn’t really matter to lay out this years team.

Jesus Christ when did Faulk win the damn Norris and deserve Nylander let alone picks as you see fit. Give me Faulk and my first back.

Attention Nylander haters: We aren't trading him! His contract is already looking team friendly compared to some of the other deals that are starting to leak out!

They need to get to 60.2 and currently 48.5 so yes they need to take on money or as you put it spend money.

Picks as you see fit was for both sides not necessarily Toronto.

Agreed that his contract is looking great and makes it more intriguing on getting a return that helps out the biggest need. Solid D. As for the Nylander hater. Because I suggest trading him doesn’t mean someone is hatter. Like hell people suggest trading Mitch are they haters?

So that's 11.7 mil on Ceci and White in arb and 5 other players. And a possible DeMelo extension. They'll hit 61 easily. And keep a better defenseman.

Keep a better D for one year and walks out the door next summer.
