Not enough value back for the Flames given what they paid to get Hammer in the first place. We already have our own Justin Holl in the Yelesin signing. A 2021 2nd rounder, or perhaps one of the hulking wingers the Marlies have a surplus of now that the Leafs signed Mikheyev and Korshkov. A guy like Engvall or Marchment is what the Flames lack in their development system.

funny you mention that i thought about either Engvall/Korskov; and to pull off the above i think Leafs would be happy to.
