Kessel to MTL if he says yes - Rust to ARZ

Created by: Sidstick87

Initial Creation Date: Jun. 26, 2019

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
MTL - PENS TRADE :
- Even tho I dont want to trade Phil to East, I think MTL deal is fair IMO. I wanted so badly to get Domi last year (think i traded for him 1,087 times, lol).
Plus w/ how Mario wanted to get Max last yr, I think the Ol' gunslinger gets it done a yr late tho.

- Juulsen is a fav young player of mine too OR maybe its bc he is a French-Canadian RHD-man, wearing #58 ???
* Gives us option of moving Guddy or having Juulsen ready to step in for Injury prone RHD.

- MTL fans get the best player in deal in Kessel but dont sleep on Jarry... IMO I would rather trade DeSmith to be truthful b/c i still think Jarry will be a solid
NHL goalie. He is very athletic , makes big saves, just never got a chance here.

Ya Domi has just engrained himself into MTL. Kessel is an elite player but Domi just has this swagger that I dont think MTL gives up, plus the age difference and giving up a good prospect, just not the right deal for Kessel from the Habs.

Its funny how just a year ago, pens were working on acquiring Domi for Sheary+ or Domi+ for kessel. Domi really hit his stride in Montreal. Good for him. I would’ve loved him on the pens

Honestly when that trade happened I had no idea what to think of it. I liked Domi for his spark but he was inconsistent in Phoenix but when he came over he just broke out. Going to be interesting if he continues to thrive in the market or recedes a bit

I KNO IT IS CRAZY... I was begging for Pens to trade for Domi and was getting told by fans that he wasnt that good and i went back and seen that I said he would get 25+ goals and 70 points for Pens last yr and ppl laughed.... always thought he'd be perfect here w/ how Mario is his god father and so close w/ family
