Comparing Liljegren to Brannstrom at this stage of their careers isn't really accurate. Brannstrom has the same number of points in the AHL as Liljegren in 37 fewer games, and Brannstrom also out performed him significantly in the Swedish League. Liljegren is a B prospect, and Brannstrom is an A+ prospect.

Also unless you're willing to part with Marner +, Seth Jones is totally off the table.

Probably Matthews tbh, Jones is a top 5 RHD with an extremely good, team friendly contract.

As of now Marner doesn’t have a contract and is asking too much, Matthews has a contract in hand.

I thought about it after and realized to get Seth Jones it would have to hurt the Leafs as much as the Blue Jackets so i agree that it would have to be Mathews just dreaming of a Reilly and Jones d pairing lol
