Moving Forward

Created by: TKSmith16
Team: 2019-20 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 2, 2019
Published: Jul. 2, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
General purpose of this is to attempt to move Ceci and assets for a similar pay RHD that can play with Rielly (more stay at home like), I believe Barrie would pair nicer with Muzzin. Savard is ideally the player I am thinking of but there is obviously other options. Open to suggestions and if more is needed to be given up lemme know!

Don't know if both teams like that trade. Not having Savard gives the Leafs flexible cap space summer. I'd rather just keep Ceci. Is Savard really a difference maker to the Leafs?

More in the sense of where is Ceci best playing, my guess is not alongside Rielly

At least the Leafs have some puck moving Dmen. Reilly, Barrie, Ceci, even Muzzin. I think Ceci might be good with Muzzin, they can share moving the puck up the ice, which might be different than last year when the LHD had to it all under Babcock's system.
I thought Hainsey was good for Reilly. Now will Reilly's offensive freelancing be curtailed without defensive Dman Hainsey? Reilly and Barrie are veterans and should be able to figure out what's going on if they are the top pairing.

I believe Pairs will be

Rielly - Ceci
Muzzin - Barrie
