An Update After Day 1

Created by: BruinsFan35
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 2, 2019
Published: Jul. 2, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Looks like McAvoy wants 7.5-8 million. I think Backes has to be moved now more than ever before. I did my own take similar to the Marleau move. I assume that Backes would get bought out wherever he goes.

Given that the Sens already have a 1-2 of Chabot and Brannstrom, do you figure the Bruins could spare Senyshyn over Zboril? More of an optics thing despite his AHL numbers being subpar: what's important for the Sens is hitting the cap floor and adding ANOTHER 1st in a very deep draft.

I think Senyshyn would work. The trade was really Backes, a first rounder and an ok prospect for a late pick. Senyshyn or Zboril would work in my mind.

Sure! Senyshyn is trash. Happy to.

Why do you think McAvoy wants 7-8?

I read it here & this account seems somewhat legit/accurate.

ya. they're really good at reporting what real reporters already reported. In terms of speculation, I'd ignore them.
