It's getting ridiculous though lol. Its not going to happen. Bergevin and staff figured out who they thought was the best to target and failed. They're not going to do more and now the Habs ended up with nothing. Expecting a trade by the start of the season of some sort.

the bruins actually have somewhat decent management (except when it comes to UFA signings). They wouldn't do this. I don't think anyone would.

heck no Domi is good but I don't think his next contract will be that high unless he's in the top 15 in scoring this season maybe lol

I think he was just trying to make a point. And a valid one at that.

Aho wanted 5 years , CAR said no
so he signed offer sheets to get it at less cap then originally discussed

10.5 at 4 years , done
we'd pay that if he has another seasons like last year .

If not we'll take two 1st 's , 2nd and a 3rd if it makes you feel better lol

Domi's a heart and soul guy who's young , charasmatic , sells jersey's and works to raise awareness about Diabetes as a role model for kids with it playing hockey .
we'd basically sign a blank check and worry about it later .

on Mete we might be forced to go up to 4.5 if they pushed us about a million more then he's worth
really in 2020 when Kotkanemi and Poehling are RFA's that's when you'd want to drive up the price on Poehling making us choose between the 2
