i would want more for slavin. He's a monster, and that contract is one of the best in the league.

Slavin to Montreal has to start with either of Tavares or Matthews. You're getting one of the premier D men in the league, on one of the best contracts in the league, you have to fork up to get someone like that.

First of all, Montreal would be a much better team to trade Slavin to since they need LHD. Secondly, the minute you mention Tavares or Matthews for Slavin the leafs hang up and never take calls from you again. Slavin is not even close to being worth either of them
