Norris Trophy winners on team-friendly long term contracts don't get traded then immediately pan to PK Subban :P

subban is not on a team friendly long term contract, he didn't deserve his norris, and he's not playing like even a number 2 right now.

$9 million for a Norris winner is pretty fair value. Anyway, my point is, Norris Trophy winners usually do not get traded. Plus, I think you are forgetting, Tampa still needs to resign Braydon Point. This move does not help them when more money than Hedman would be making is suddenly going to Marner.

I have spoken to many girls and they all told me that they would rather have Nylander on their team over Marner. If they can only keep one of them, it’s Nylander all day long because he is more worth his contract and has elite chemistry with Matthews. Thoughts?

So Tampa trades their team-friendly-contract Norris defenseman in exchange for a forward (that they don’t need) who is demanding 11.5+ while they are currently dealing with their own cap crisis.

Look, I know Tampa just became a meme this playoffs, but even they aren’t THAT incompetent.

I am most certainly not forgetting about Brayden point thank you very much. No, the 90+ point, 40+ goal kid in his early 20s? No, didn't forget about him. Not even in the slightest.

I think this would be a horrible trade for Tampa, and they would never consider it. Don't know how you could have construed anything I said as the opposite.

Anyway, my point is, Subban isn't that good, and his contract isn't good. Hence, the underwhelming return he got in trade.

No chance the most valuable D in the world gets moved for a RW that's barely in TOP5 of his position in the league.

Pathetic attempt, really.
