I feel like it's too expensive for him. My humble opinion.

He is slightly expensive but the Habs have space....He is an excellent 2nd pair LD who hits hard and got 20 points last year(no PP time at that). He is more known for the defence than offence...He made a good pairing with Byfuglien, esp with Byf roaming around...He will complement Petry really well.

Benny Chariot was a good soldier for the jets. Hard hitting and defensively responsible. Moves pretty good for a big guy and has a hard shot but never got a chance on the PP with the jets. Sad to see him go but Im glad he ended up in the east and playing in a Canadian market
