Why would anaheim take that deal? you have given them no incentive to take johnsons term. Bryan rust has put up 38 points as a career high. Dont forget, anaheim just bought out perry, and has getzlaf and kesler on the books, they arent trying to get to the floor. they are there.

The more I think about it the more concerned I get about committing to a player of that cap hit. I think I’d rather them sign Ben Hutton to a 1-2 year deal to be the stop gap on that 2nd or 3rd pairing until PO Joseph is NHL ready.
