At this point Stan has to, but I don't think AA is a bad player at all. OTT is the right team due to the contract if nothing else. AA is a steal @ $2.5M a year for 2 years...which is what they'd pay.

I completely agree. I still think a team like the Islanders could take him (in contention but still has cap space). They need a 3C and Anisimov puts up 30-40 points and is solid defensively. That is, of course, if they stay away from Marner grimace

I think we're going to see a rotation of Kubalik, Perlini, Sikura, and possibly Quenneville until they find three guys that can stick in the top 9 winger positions. Makes me nervous though as I see all of them as middle 6 players and none of them as a top line winger.

Also, if we move Anisimov, I wonder if Shaw plays 3C or if we bring up Kurashev or Entwistle and juggle them with the 4C with Kampf. Again, if we can't find a top line winger then Shaw will likely get pushed up and we'll need another center.

If anisimov goes then they'll probably give dach a shot at that third line center spot. Atleast for 9 games. Most likely it'll be kampf and carpenter as the 3rd and 4th line centers in no particular order. Carpenter is pretty good at faceoffs

I totally forgot about Entwistle. Another guy I’m high on is Highmore, although his injury last season will probably set his call up back a little while

Does anyone know how long Dehaan will be injured? And also, I think a trade with Saad for someone like Clayton Keller or maybe Jason Zucker would make sense. Maybe Saad and Highmore for Zucker?

DeHaan is out until Thanksgiving; maybe December
