Description

Rumour has it that the Stars are shopping Julius Honka. They currently have 8 dmen on their roster, so this makes sense.

I have no idea what he might be worth, trade-wise... But I thought this would be a good start, given that they have gotten a bit older this offseason. This would give them a nice scoring prospect, and a pick... It would have no immediate effect on their current cap situation.

I know that Vesalainen >>> Honka, but from Winnipeg's perspective, assuming Honka is in the deal, what else does it take to land Vesalainen from the Jets? Between Laine, Connor, Wheeler, and Ehlers it doesn't seem like there is much space for Veslainen in the top-6 anytime in the near future.

Honestly, Spacek is not as well known a name... But he is definitely a solid prospect from an offensive perspective. He's probably not as NHL ready, but he's not far off either. He's put up good numbers in the AHL.
