Blues aren't shopping Dunn. If anything, we're looking for a top 4 LD as well to replace Bouwmeester.

St Louis declines. If Columbus rebuilds, its an exciting offer

Dunn was amazing this year, the Blues aren't gonna trade him and definitely not for scraps

I figured Blues would probably decline. But I also wouldn't give up much more for Dunn.

Byron (30-40 points, fast af, 20 goal guy on the right line), Evans (exciting young prospect who can push for an NHL spot this year, 2nd round pick....yes, scraps. I probably agree this isn't enough for Dunn but lets not call it scraps.

I wouldn't do that Columbus trade, I think Brook has a good future coming. Blues decline that trade, Dunn is to young for them to give up yet.

It will be at least 2-3 years for Brook to be an established D-Man in the NHL, likely playing 2nd-3rd pairing. I would 100% give him up for a big, point scoring winger who can play anywhere in the lineup, and give us a better chance at winning sooner, rather than later...when Weber is pushing 40.

but after Brook you're relying on who to take over for Weber? Juulsen will probably be at best a top 4 guy but is a more defensive player opposed to Brooks offense.

Take over for Weber? 6-7 years from now....im sure we will have somebody to replace him.

Columbus declines. They're not rebuilding. Anderson is a core piece and if they're gonna move him, it'd be for a young top six center.

Jackets have a ton of defensive depth and want to compete before Jones cashes in (three years) – defensive prospects don't appeal to them at all.
