Only if worst comes to worst. I know you guys are pretty deep and don't need Perrault. Something like Manning +4th from the Oilers might work for both sides though.
Not the worst offer though, at least we're not sending a pick.
On another topic, how about Kulikov + 4th for a 7th?

Perrault is probably worth his 4.25m, but it's finding a team that wants to take most of the cap hit without sending much money back to the Jets. That gets tricky now that most teams have their rosters set, except for the teams with their unsigned RFAs.

Look at Ferland...UFA got "just" 3.5 X 4. I wouldn't expect anything back in a Perrault trade or a Kulikov trade, heck maybe a sweetener has to be added.

Can we get some non Habs fans in here? Not that you guys are bad, just that I've already seen your thoughts on this and want to hear from fans/fanbases that might have interest.
Edit: Well now we have a leafs fan. Not a fit for then either though.

Perrault is still a pretty good third liner. I would say he's overpaid by about 500k.

Exactly, he's still a good player the Jets just need cap space.
Would you do the trade as a Flyers fan?

I think realistically the Jets could get about a 5th round pick for Perreault. But like it was said before, I think our options are limited as there aren't many teams who would be able to afford him at his cap hit for 2 more years.

Agree, Just trying to see which teams/fanbases specifically would meet that criteria and have interest.

We have 4 LHD under contract, the only way of getting a new one is for a top one.... and Kulikov doesn't fit their.
No need here, sorry... but we can accept an offer for Elhers
