Interesting idea, think they might want a bit more or for the Islanders to take Neilsen if they're trading Athanasiou.

I'd throw in another B level D prospect buts that's about it - I think the trade is pretty fair.

I think you'd need to, both are decent prospects but haven't done anything at the NHL level yet and Bellows had a pretty rough first professional season, the Wings would be crazy to trade a proven player for a couple 'what ifs.

Wings need D prospects and if they want a roster player Beauvillier could be the piece and add a 2nd rd pick. Wilde, beauvillier, and a 2nd for athanasiou. Wilde is an A prospect - he has the size, skills, and skating ability to be a top pairing D (just needs to work on decision making). He does have value and could very well reach his ceiling.

MTL decline. We dont need LHD anymore, it's over with Chiarot signing. We'll keep Tatar

I feel that's WAY too much to give up for a guy who, while good (I'm not debating that), just put up his first GOOD season. Before last year, when he put up 54 points, he was a 30 point player. If we are trading Wilde, who is likely to form the Right side of our D for years to come with Pulock and Dobson after next season, it has to be for someone with more of a body of work, and I'm certainly not adding Beau and a 2nd on Top of Wilde, as someone else suggested.

Plus, that now gives us another RFA to sign next year along with Barzal, Pulock and Toews. If AA has a good year with the Isles that can get pretty pricey between the 4 of them.
