Not a BOS or MIN fan.

Backes contract won’t be easy to move, but I think it could be done for less.

Trade 1: Backes / 1st for 7th
Trade 2: JFK / Zboril or Frederic / 3rd for Zucker

Teams with 2-years rebuilding left and cap space (OTT, LAK, NJD) would probably entertain trade 1.

Maybe I am too high in JFK, but think MIN would consider trade 2.

I 100% agree. I think the Marleau trade set the bar for cap dumps. Especially for a team like Boston that is in a similar position to Toronto in trying to create cap space to sign RFAs

Why does everyone see/want Zucker to Boston???

He's LW, not RW at all. Then, the 3 prospects sent are not enough and Sweeney will never trade his 1st rounder again after the Nash's deal.

Like seriously, stop it.

You can't sign those guys to 8-year deal after June 30 11:59pm EST. Max is 7 and at least one of them (likely) McAvoy will get a bridge deal.

This is a top-notch dream land trade.
