Except he barely plays center and he sucks at it which is why they brought in Filppula...

They certainly improved here, and Lafreniere is a stud, but there's a ton of guys on this roster (ie. Zadina, Rasmussen, Veleno, Seider, etc.) that definitely have super high potential, but also have a lot of warts in their games that will need to be fixed before this team takes the next step.

You could even probably put Lehner on the big question mark list. Is he the stud that was with the Isles last season, or the guy from before?

They also share a division with a lot of teams that they'd have to leapfrog in 20-21. Do we see Tampa, Toronto and Boston taking a step back over the next couple of seasons? Florida and Buffalo have both made moves to improve as well. Will another year of experience from those guys push them up? That's a lot of climbing.

Tampa is gonna start taking steps back, Toronto's defense is still a question mark and they are 1 Andersen injury away from lottery.

Maybe one Andersen injury away from struggling to make the playoffs but they are a playoff team, period. TO's offense is completely loaded and they'll win a lot of games 6-5 if they have too.

Yzerman calls AA a natural winger. So AA is a natural winger. lol

The whole reason why Yzerman signed Filppula though, Was to move AA back to the wing.

He plays like a winger. Although he didn’t do bad and he did put up 30 goals last year playing half the season as a Center, he’s still a natural winger. And yeah that’s why filp was brought back in. To hold on to it until Veleno is ready probably
