I think TBL would have to add a little bit but the framework is definitely there...

I think Manson would be a great target if TBL could balance the cap, but I doubt the Ducks have any interest in moving Kase at this point. He's on the verge of a big breakout if they would just give him some more ice time.

I'm just curious why no TBL fans have tried to tempt Pietrangelo to come to the Bolts powerhouse down south? Yes, I know the common rumor is that he will be re-signed, but I'm still surprised there's not at least an attempt on Cap Friendly to generate some conversation.

I'm looking at the defensive heatmaps with and without Manson and it seems like he doesn't really help too much in the slot. Tampa Bay's defense does pretty well in front of its own net, but the big issue is in the slot. Manson seems good at defending at the lower part of the hashmarks, but then above that he's actually worse than the rest of Anaheim's defense. Part of that is probably due to playing with Lindholm, who doesn't defend the slot very well, but it's still worrying to me.

Of course playing with Hedman instead of Lindholm would probably make him better at everything lol.
My personal choice is Pesce, but I doubt Carolina is interested in moving him.

my thinking was kinda of Manson for Palat 1 for 1, and Kase for Sergachev 1 for 1. ANA needs goals but are also in an in between state, so they get a younger D, while Tampa gets their RD veteran for contention right now and Kase as a younger, slightly less effective winger than Palat. I definitely think it would need added pieces but was too lazy to really try and nail it

cap space, with McDonagh and Hedman on the books forever and Cernak and Sergachev needing contracts (they're not trading them as much as people like to believe they will), they can't afford another big name guy like that in the d-core
