Shattenkirk is one of the most over rated players in the NHL. It's like they needed a big name at the trade deadline and he was chosen to be it.
He's a turn over machine. The blues were glad to be rid of him, washington pounded their head into the wall once they got him, and now NYR would probably like to move on from him.

Benning is pretty good. Got pretty lucky last year too. I'd definitely consider Shatty for Gagner straight up. But in what world do the Rangers accept a dman into their already conflated mix

If I was any team I am not trading for Shattenkirk period, he is the ****s and every rangers fan wants to get rid of him. They know he is the ****s and next stop for him is Kontinental league!

By the way, Klefbomb averages 24 minutes a game last year, and it wasnt 12 minutes a game on special teams, so not sure about your chart! Shattenkirk is 18 minutes a game last year!
