I don't know about that. Laine is a very very good one trick pony. Scores yes. Defensively suspect, and if he doesn't score, looks almost invisible.

Now if you can get one of the top 5 two-way centres in the game, whose overall offensive production can match Laine's (not even touching defense), plus Nurse?

I call that brilliant.

Nuge money probably be a bit closer to Duchene / Skinner 9.5+.
Nurse would become a roadblock to Samberg and Heinola. RHD is more urgent with the expiring byfuglien contract after next year and limited prospects. Left side is stacked. Giving up a superstar in Laine is not a good look. But I’m not opposed to moving him for a big fish. Maybe a Laine / Stanley for A Ekblad / Borgstrom. AE is signed for 6 yrs at 7.5. Would make an Elite top pair with Morrissey. Borgstrom young C team covets.
