Still no. You have to put an Extension in the deal for it to remotely be close and even then it’s not.

I don’t think that’s a far off value personally, hall is arguably a top 10 winger when he’s healthy, I agree with the extension part, but that’s not “far” off, you’re getting a previous MVP (we all know the injury trouble so we don’t need to mention that as that also helps make it a little risky for Calgary)

Injured. Key Top 10 2 years ago when he wasn’t injured. He didn’t play for over half the season last year. So it’s kind of nullified until you have some real ground to cover. NJD has no leverage with Hall at all.

to get past the first round in the playoffs. to change the current culture. to add physical players to the roster.

Held out for half of the year and missed half the year are two completely different things. NJ was waaaayyyy out of a playoff spot early on and with the additional injuries to numerous players, there was no chance of them making the playoffs. Both Shero and Hynes knew that early on, ultimately shutting Hall down rather than rushing a comeback.

I’m just talking in terms of value hall has had a long time for rehab a long time and as pointed out they shut him down cause they already threw in the towel. But value it’s not far or it’s close to fair

Calgary is on all of them. $7.7M in space and they still need to sign their Assistant Captain. Plus they have been dangling Brodie in front of every GM for over a year now, only to find out this week that they have to keep him.

Johnny hockey couldn't save this team if he scored 99 points every year from here on out.

Tkachuk is their MVP over gaudreau or anyone. They won’t part with Tkachuk unless they’re getting a young 90 point player back.
