Description

Honka has great mobility, speed, acceleration, and wonderful hands and passing skill. His defensive positioning needs some work and it looks like they’ll never play him on the blue line with how crowded it is. I this should be a serious option. Thoughts?

Honka was the 2nd best DAL defender when it came to blue line numbers (zone exit and zone denials) behind Heiskanen. Just saying.

It’s pretty alarming that outside of Heiskanen DAL has pretty much flopped on their 1st rounders in recent history. So far their best 1st rounder since 2010 is faksa. They’ve bought one out, traded then reacquired one, and now have two guys at 22-23 that haven’t done anything at the nhl level.

Oh it’s very alarming and Stars fans are aware. It’s my biggest concern with him being our GM. The Dellandrea pick is starting to look good and I’m a huge fan of the Harley pick.
