Tough to finalize value here. Gagner gets dumped, Puljujarvi has value but it's unclear how much, Lavoie is a solid young player with character concerns, but Ottawa needs good C prospects, and then two picks (but no first). EDM gets Tierney, who I think would be a great 3C on a contender, and Balcers who has a lot of upside. Hard to say if it's balanced, but I think both teams get value and both teams get better, although EDM gets better much sooner.

Tierney is a 3rd line centre RFA who the Sens most likely aren't looking to negotiate with long-term as he will likely just slow down a youngster looking to crack the lineup, or they go the cheaper route. This is plenty of value for the Sens and they take it in a heartbeat.
