That was my intention. Great info, thanks.

Certainly from the teams you mentioned there, then Chicago would also have to be in consideration with an identical 3/6. It would appear that 4 is the arbitrary cut off though at a rate of 1 win in every 2 years, going by the Senators as the weakest of the arguments in the official list. No idea of the reasoning, I'm sure it must be logged somewhere though, and yw for the info. smile

Shesterkin is the goalie of the future for the Rangers but Georgiev is a future starter for sure

By the way I hadn't even noticed you were a Rangers fan when I made the trade comment and about Georgiev, so not blowing sunshine up your a**e. I just think right now he's the perfect target for the Avs in a deal to help the Rangers out with Namestnikov, and the cap. A question though..... Cap Friendly lists him as RW,LW,C. Has he played centre much? I only seem to recollect ever seeing him on the wing (mostly the right).

He slotted in as center for us for a few games. He looks decent there, however wing is where he thrives. I still believe he has around 50P potential and it’s all a matter of getting him on the right line. However, his value right now is the lowest it’s been. My guess is he won’t be a ranger for much longer and rumors are Edmonton has asked about his services.

How high is Askarov ranked. IMO he’s like 15, which the Avs could do

Who’s better Askarov or Wallstedt (Ik they’re both in different draft years, I’m just not sure which one is better)

Askarov but there isn’t much separation between the two
