They can get that without taking Backes, probably more.

Probably right. Just throwing it out there. They would maybe get a better prospect than Zboril. Koivu is 36 years old don't forget on an expiring contract. A 2nd and a good prospect is a good return even including Backes.

I don't know. Marcus Johansson netted a 2nd and a 4th. A younger more versatile player.

Habs got 2 2nds for Plekanec and he had nothing left. Koivu still averaging .5 ppg and is solid 2 way vet center, something playoff bound teams will highly value at the deadline.

My point is, just because you don’t value Zboril (Bruins are loaded at LD) doesn’t mean a GM doesn’t. When you’re in a mini re-build/re-tool, a 2nd and LD prospect is a solid return for a 36 year old
