Hahaha, we have more than enough cap space to sign both without having to move a single body, get your facts straight. You want 6 years of Ehlers, who's way younger for 2 years of Tatar, an AHL player and a 4th round pick? Keep dreaming.

Connor 7 years at $7.5, Laine 2 years at $6.5. Even IF those numbers came in a bit higher, move Perreault, bury Kulikov...LOTS of other options than trading Ehlers for penny's on the dollar. Next.

I agree that both would cost around 16-18 millions, but offering tatar for ehlers is a little bit exaggerated. I mean tatar could land us a late first round and A B prospect but it won’t gave us a 60 point established winger at 6 millions a year for 6 more years. If we trade for
Ehlers we would have to gave danault and a prospect like olofsson or mcshane or fonstad. Tht would be more realistic
