    Not bad. Nash needs to dump cap for next year but on the flip side with Tatar signed beyond this year they cut let Granlund/Smith walk.

    Vegas and Peg deals work well.

    Washington would end up waiving Folin. They probably offer Bindulis for him, though.

    Washington's issue is cap space to ice even 22 guys, while Montreal's issue is the overall number of people, so there could be a two for one trade if Montreal wanted someone mildly expensive off the Caps, now.

    If the Caps were to trade for a defenseman, it'd probably be a veteran LHD if anything. I think the more likely option would be for a forward.
