My guess will be if you want Laine, you give up Kakko, that is totally fair!

lol-- sure let's trade the player that outperformed Laine in the same league during his draft year on an elc for 3 years for a forward that wants a 9+m dollar deal

This is not your trade idea nor mine, this is some other guys pipe dream. So the way this site works is somebody puts on his idea and then people respond as the GM of the other team, So if he wants Laine (Not You) then there will be a price, if I am GM of Jets, that is the cost to get him. Now I hope you understand someone other than your idea!

yes that's how the site works. thank you so much for clarifying, i did not understand. So when you made your COUNTEROFFER of "kakko" I responded as the GM for the other team saying LMFAO and hanging up the phone sarcasm

Sorry, I thought @thumb was the GM of the other team like I stated above, I did not know you and thumb were the same person.

so maybe i should take the time to educate you on the actual way that this website works... it's where people post trades they would like to see and people give feedback from both sides of the aisle. If you don't like the feedback, get over it or stop posting.

And your counter is ludicrous.. trying to get a #2 pick on first year of ELC for someone that is obvious wants out of WPG and is mimicking what trouba did. In addition to the rangers never doing that, even if it had a 1% chance of being considered they don't have the cap to sign Laine, which makes your offer that much worse as it wouldn't work anyway.

Lol you mean like the Knights or leafs dont have the cap to sign players, teams find ways to do that. Laine is worth more than Kakko right now, until Kakko plays his first NHL game! Your point on trades also usually works by the 2 teams going back and forth, not just here is what i want and here is what I am going to give you, take it and shut up. Educate yourself on the website and also how it really works!

Laine isn't worth more than Kakko right now-- he's demanding too high of a price and isn't worth the contract. In terms of value, Kakko brings more to whatever team he is on because of the contract he has. Don't get me wrong, right now Laine is the "bettere" player in the NHL since Kakko has yet to play a game, but he is not worth Kakko let alone more than Kakko at this point in time.

Your point of "this is what I want and here is what i'm going to give you" is exactly what you are doing right now by demanding kakko. I'm simply saying no. I didn't suggest any trade to obtain laine at all. Take your own advice and educate yourself

btw this hypocritical line of thinking will eventually just lead me to block you as you constantly are contradicting yourself by trying to give "advice" that you yourself should take.

Not sure why I am wrong, because I think a proven young NHL player has more value than and unproven non NHL player that hasnt played a game yet. I dont know what Laine is asking for at all, but most likely wants NOT to play in Winnipeg! Or the part that you are not the GM for the Rangers on this thread Thumbs thread, thumbs idea, Thumbs the GM Thumb can discuss trade options with me being Winnipeg GM or you being Winnipeg GM. Different GM's have different opinions of players and you cant change that, look at Chia for example. So you being Winnipeg GM because thumb is Rangers gm, what do you propose?
