From what ot sounds like. we might move domi back to wing, so Poehling can come up and play 3C. I really like this roster, and i think if MTL top players duplicate what they did last year (and hopefully better PP) mtl makes playoffs as 3 seed

There is multiple reasons to think either MTL or Florida will take that spot, Atlantic will be the division to beat

Why would you move Armia and two picks to unload Alzner when you have almost 12 million in cap space. Send him to the minors keep him past July 1st. 2020 and pay his bonus and then he can be dumped much easier. No need to give up assets to do it now.

with all rfas signed. this team doesnt beat: tampa, boston, leafs, panthers in the standings. you are seriously underestimating how good the panthers will be with a steady goalie in net in bobrovsky. NOW if mcavoy and carlo arent signed. marner sits out. then you have a chance to squeak past. but i dont think this is your year.

I think Boston might drop out of playoffs if they don't get McAvoy and Carlo signed on time and Chara doesn't start the year on time which is a possibility. Montreal can fall below Buffalo if Buffalo trades a D for a top 6 F. Montreal could also move up if the rookies play and perform above standards.
