The faulk talks are supposed to contain an extension for him, so he;s not a UFA D man and Carolina have no need to move him, they have the cap to keep him and it gives them the hands down best D core league wide.

The rumors are ANA wants to work out one, not that one is for sure being done. and in this thread one wasn't done. Sprong was scoring on a 24 goal pace last year (14G in 47 games) while only playing 13 minutes a night. That and a second is more than a fair return

On pace means nothing, he put up 14 goals. How knows how the other 35 games go if he plays, it's speculation, Sprong isn't the right guy here for Carolina, and the pick would need to go up a round if Faulk resigns

On pace means potential, which means value. With that logic draft picks are worthless since all they are is potential. Regardless arguing over value is pointless we can both argue our sides but we'll see the return when and if the deal happens

And I thought the Drouin + 2nd for Laine trades were bad.....
