Just because you didn't agree at the time and argued, the easy out is to call it a "troll post" but when reality is, I nailed it and argued till I was blue in the face why that number is realistic. Call it what you want at the end of the day, just remember all the **** I've taken from Leaf's fans just like last year on Nylander and at the end I was right; not because I'm smarter then anyone, just because I didn't have the fanboy glasses on and saw it from a non biased standpoint. I negotiate financial contracts for a living. The best thing any negotiator can do, in spite of picking a side in any negotiation, is do their very best to in their head to pretend to negotiate for the other side. Once you do that, you can zero in what's fair and what's not. Points per dollar is only a starting point which I've said many times, many other factors come into play and what obviously was a big consideration is the handouts to Matthews and JT. Marners camp did a great job and the Leafs will be happy in 5 years when this is a steal...it's going to be a win win when all is said and done is my gut.
