Horrible for Edmonton. That's a big pass. Laine can score, but his defence is horrible. Edmonton needs Nuge. He's a great two way player who can put points on the board. In fact he put up almost 20 more points than Laine last year. So to throw in two decent prospects and a 1st. No way.

Winnipeg's going to accept this. Not sure what Bear is worth, but I think Yam, 1st, 2nd is even with Laine's potential, and then throwing in Nugent-Hopkins definitely helps Winnipeg stay competitive over the next year or ten.

This is a terrible trade for the oil!
