Glad youre becoming a Canes fan!
I haven't paid too much attention to the Isles but why is Boychuk scratched? Isn't he one of their top 4 D men?

He was like 2 years ago. Pulock and Mayfield went above him in the depth chart last year and now Dobson did this year

Dobson is already better than boychuk. Pelech-pulock, toews-mayfield is our top 4

We don’t need to flip him just yet, I’d would be a hefty price to trade that contract. I’d rather wait till we need the cap space, which might be next year

A very strong team. If Varlamov proves out, they could be Conference finalists.

I just noticed that Wahlstrom, drafted 11th, got the full maximum ELC while Dobson, drafted 12th, got $894,166.66 -- interesting comment on the value of defensemen versus forwards.
