I agree with spreading out the scoring but I don't see the Detroit trade being worth a first rounder. The only way the Jets trade for a RHD is if Buff makes retirement official. Savard, Hamonic, even Risto are better options to pursue and likely wouldn't cost a first rounder.

Honestly gustafsson would slot in over Vesalainen at this point. Also kulikov has looked really good so I wouldn’t trade him and a first for green. Buff is probably retiring. Also I like the idea of spreading depth. But little simply cannot be put with Laine again. It has to be copp roslovic or scheifele with him at c.
