Petan isn't even worth that. He's a career AHL player.

Trevor Chef: Leafs fan here. He is a 13th forward. He cleared waivers on Oct 1. ie every team in the league was offered him for free and no one took him.

If a team has an injury or feels they could use his versatility we may get a 6th or 7th. But we should be happy for that. Otherwise expect a similar depth player in return or waiving him

I'm not so sure that's the case but it could be, I have no idea why Edmonton wouldn't take a flyer on him. He could be a 3rd liner there. If he got a real cha CE somewhere to be offensive, he could carve out a decide niche somewhere.

See what your friends had to say. If he was an NHL player, 30 other teams would have picked him up off of waivers for free. Like I said, he's a career AHL player maybe a call up.
