Trust me, Edmonton is not interested. Seabrook would be a healthy scratch in Edmonton, and that's with Larsson out with a broken leg.

It's going to cost Chicago a LOT more than that to get rid of his contract.

What is essentially 2 2nd rounders doesn't get rid of the Seabrook contract.

-1 year of Marleau, with the majority of the money owed already having been paid via bonuses through the first two years of the contract, cost a 1st round pick. 1 YEAR!
-Grabovski ( 2 years on LTIR), cost the Isles a 1st (Branstrom), 2nd and a C prospect in Bischoff (in exchange for not picking Strome, Bailey or Prince).
-Clarkson (LTIR) cost the Jackets a 1st, 2nd, and William Karlsson (wasn't considered a great prospect at the time). This saved the Jackets from having to give up Anderson or Korpisalo (And Wennberg/Savard).

There's a ton of other examples out there.
