leafs just cant take on that salary. would have to retain or take on some leafs contract as well but then I don't think its so fair so really no way that happens

Leafs don't want Burns, and there isn't much point in acquiring Lebanc or giving up Dermott. Burns is too old and Lebanc is a slight upgrade to Kapanen, but that's only from looking at stats, idk how he plays other than that.

As a Jets fan who thinks Stanley is a bust I still wouldn't make that trade but would you really want to retain that much for that long?!.. That'd have to be some kind of retention amount/length record.. Lol

I don't think the Sens would trade away SJSs 1st rd pick for anything at the moment!
