Either you’re really high on holmstrom or underrating wahlstrom.

The first 5 games wahlstrom played for the islanders , he was in the top 7 for on ice expected goal share among 62 rookies. He skates well , has a great shot, and can generate chances by himself. He just needs to work on his play away from the puck

ok? 5 game sample size really doesnt mean too much in the grand scheme of things. his ceiling is a 3RW imo

It’s promising that he did it at the NHL level. Ever since he turned pro, he has been impressive. He has 10 pts in 14 career AHL games. People were so quick to write him off after his one season at BC

Lol you can think what you want - not sure what about wahlstroms game leads to to believe that (or you’re just trolling) but you’re entitled to your opinion

Wrong for the sharks. I think Cheko is great but Dahlens probably got him beat. Merkley is BY FAR the best D prospect the sharks have

Merkley might have better upside, but Kniazev has been insanely impressive since he's been drafted

Oh I like Kniazev but Merkley has vision unlike most dmen in the game. Kniazev not even being considered for the WJC or Can-Rus series speaks volumes that he isnt that highly regarded

Those are really restrictive guidelines for being a prospect. Playing 15 games doesn't mean you've graduated from being a prospect.
