Description
This is a troll post to show what I keep seeing people do on here lol
(Its not just Washington don't worry, it was just an example)
People seems to overvalue their player and undervalue other teams guys drastically in trades
People wanna give their UFAs and RFAs cheap contracts to save money (couldn't show that here)
And people forget about the salary cap wayyyyy to often

Krug is a ufa after this year and he would probably get the Bruins a 1st and a top prospect. So remove Dowd and add a 1st. Obviously caps aren’t buying at this price and Bruins aren’t seller. But alexeyev is our best prospect.

Same age Backstrom or Barkov I’m going Backstrom every time. The age difference would make Barkov more valuable. Also Backy is a ufa and untouchable. I would pay my own money to keep him in DC


Jensen for a 2nd is a steal. He’s a Solid puck moving top 4 rhd with a low cap hit and term. Toronto Would be wise to sign and lock up some solid cheap defense.

Puljujärvi Has shown he’s not a very good nhl player but he has value in the form of potential. Maybe add a lower level prospect and they do this. Again caps don’t need him at all

I though if Boston wins the cup they let Krug walk then I googled Krug leaving Boston and he is quoted by several reputable news sources saying he would take a discount to stay in Boston. I don't think you have to worry about Backstrom for Barkov because he is the face of the Panthers now so they won't trade him. As a Wings fan I do like Jensen but I think he is #4 or #5 Dman excellent skater but he is to hesitant at times to take chances to rushing the puck or making the difficult pass that could lead to a goal. I agree Puljujärvi doesn't have a whole lot of value right now, but Edmonton still wants a lot for him In the last week or so they have proposed 1 for 1s with AA, Bertuzzi and Zadina. I understand wanting to get as much as possible for a former #4 OA pick but the aren't going to get a return like that until Puljujärvi can prove he can be that player at NHL speed.

I was just pointing out that some of these trades arent nearly as bad as they should have been for a troll post. I on the fence with Jensen. I think Gudas is playing better right now but that’s more Gudas overachieving than Jensen underachieving. I agree I don’t see Boston or caps making a trDe for Krug. The fact he’s willing to take a discount is why Boston will forever be better than the TML.

And Fla shouldn’t trade Barkov. He’s a stud. Im just a bias caps fan that won’t allow Backstrom to leave at any cost. Like malkin leaving the penguins.

Do the Bruins benefit from Stephenson for Keyser? The Caps have enough goalies, but Keyser might have a higher ceiling than Copley, and his arrival would let them trade Copley to a team that can get him back into the NHL right away.
