Ghost has a pretty team friendly deal and is a steal if he’s at the top of his game. Don’t think they would just move him to “save cap”. Nolan Patrick will cost barely anything to give a bridge deal to, he has yet to play a full season and might not even play this year. They aren’t going to sell low on Ghost. If anything they wait until the offseason.

Habs need to do something big, and quick if they wanna save their season. But I don't think they're gonna land either one of these guys w/o stepping it up. Devils want an A Defense prospect and PHI probably won't trade Ghost while his stock is low.

He’s coming back into the lineup this week according to AV. It was only supposed to be a one game benching but they have played well in the passed two games. Coaches usually roll with same lines if they are working. But just bc we don’t need him doesn’t mean you sell low. They will wait for the right offer.

That's a panic response. Montreal has one of the best 5V5 teams in the league, they just need to work on their specialty teams.

Good opportunity to buy low, but Philly wants to win now (hence why they fired their old GM). If they were to trade Ghost, it wouldn't be for futures.

You're probably right, but they're missing Drouin a lot right now. Not enough offensive depth w/o him.
