Abdelkader is still on the team so there is at least 1 scrub left. Then you added pool party he is a bottom 6 forward at best and since his problem not being able to process the game fast enough mentally playing in Finland isn't helping him at all the AHL or KHL is where he should be. Honestly if the Wings have the 1st pick they should take Lafrenière over Byfield yes they will both be elite players but Lafrenière has the ability to be special and it would be stupid to pass that up. Lafrenière has already proven he is the best player in the draft. Yeah the Wings do need a center but Montreal needed a center so they passed on talent to get their center with JK and I've seen a lot of posts lately trying to trade him they would kill to have Tkachuk or Quinn Hughes right now.

Yeah no way i see AA signing long term in Edmonton, Both AA and Ferris didn't have many kind words to say about Holland. With Yzerman as GM i can see AA signing long term in Detroit before Edmonton.
