Then when you call balogne he will pull out some advanced stats that no one knew even existed as BEYOND REPROACH proof that the other team is actually getting more value.

I mean, most of the Selke voters seem to just go by plus/minus and points, just like they do with the Norris. Those are totally worthless stats if you're trying to predict who will stay good the next year, because all they do is count what happened the previous year. But if you're trying to give awards for what happened the previous year, they're awesome.
