The Detroit trade? Really? If this trade was going to happen it would have happened in the offseason.

Sabres defense is loaded next year. I don't know why Risto hasn't been moved yet. I think I'm close on the value here (correct me if wrong). BUF needs a top 6 center and DET needs defense support. I know you have Hronek and Seider on the right, but Seider could take an additional year and still is likely to remain on the 3rd pair.

I know sabres have d depth but Bryson is a lot of fun to watch and I would be sad to see him moved this early in his development. I would like Wood but Hutton is going to stay through his contract. Botts has a plan with the goalies he has since he signed carter and UPL will spend a full year in Roch next year and take over the following year.
