The Leafs won't trade Kap for a guy like Schultz. Older, more expensive, isn't bringing offense like he used to, and has no term. Nobody would give up a young player with potential for that.

I'm not sure who Schultz replaces on the Leafs that makes the Leafs defence that much better especially when it weakens the Leafs wings by trading the Kapanen.
