the pens also have desmith buried, and was on waivers because jarry is so good, dont think their gonna get much for him if anything at all

Yea, I think Subban would would a be a disaster for at 4.5m for 2.5 years. All this nonsense just to trade Ceci, and you get an inferior Dman in Subban.
Leafs don't need buddies of wanna celebrities on the team but NHL RHD.

Fact is a teams 3rd sting goalie might be needed at some time, so they aren't likely traded

That's what you hope anyways, and that's a large package to pay for a hope of something coming true. I don't think Simmonds is a good rental option either, he's not what he once was so don't see a point in aquiring him over keeping Johnsson.

My counter would be Subban @50% for Ceci + Bracco. People are going to be pretty cautious about acquiring Subban at this point so I don't think we can expect a lot to be moved for him.

hes had a bad 30 game stretch, obviously isnt working out in NJ. considering he was up for a norris two years ago, makes me think hes not as bad as youre making him out to be. ive watched him this year and his production defensively hasnt been bad. feel like hes probably got alot left in the tank, and would be perfect for the leafs locker room, he also could definitely handle the spotlight, probably would thrive in it being the type of person he is. youre just a dickhead

petans the farthest thing from an AHLer, leafs just dont have room for him cause their so stacked up front. 2nd on the team in terms of CF%, at 55.2%. leafs fans love him

I just came an opinion on his player who in my mind...doesn't want it anymore. With the Leafs in such a precarious cap situation, you just can't be guessing on 4.5m, 2.5m. But of course there are a collection of dickheads who like the celebrity players and can only remember there performance years ago. Well he was waivers too and no one selected him.

Problem is getting him into the lineup. Our 4th line, especially our RW is full of able bodies. You got Spezza and Goat splitting duties, and with Engval taking over a spot on the left side that means Moore gets pushed to his natural right side now too.

Kapanen has to be in any trade with Subban/Sami
