No way, I hope the playoffs lineup exactly like they look right now. TO in second and Montreal in 3rd. That would be a sick 1st round series.

Come on man, stop with this Vlasic crap. There isn't anything San Jose can give MTL that's worth taking that contract. Even while giving them our 2 cap dumps, it doesn't make up for the last 4 years of that contract.

Its like when Habs fans on here trade Price and then you get into ridiculous arguments over his value because of hos contract, difference is that Price might actually play out his contract at a reasonable tier of play, Vlasic is already looking like he wont last another 2 years in the league at all.

MTL definitely should not take Vlasic, because seven million dollars until he's 39 is horrible

Money or the Cap is not the issue. I know that is last two seasons will be difficult but with the young upcoming D they will need experience guys to help them Out in there development down the road. Currently it would provide the Habs with a closedown D core on the first line against any other teams. A second pair that can move the puck and play solid D…
Price is not going anywhere is still the HABS franchise player and what do you have to do is provide him the ressources at D in order to perform at its full potential.

For sure but there’s still lots of game to play before we can imagine this scenario and in the Atlantic Division there is good teams to beat!!!

Yeah, Tampa should be better than they have been and Florida is a good team too. Montreal is in tough but I think TO is in the spot they'll be in till the end of the season. Unless injuries of course.

Don’t you think having a 20 goals+ LFW playing with McDavid as fast has him wouldn’t be added value on your roster for the next 3 years?

Don't think Montreal would do any of these. Maybe the Byron deal, although I think they would rather keep Byron.
