honestly i feel like deangelo would be worth more. A right handed young defensemen that is very offensively gifted on a very good contract with almost absolute team control on the next one.

Yeah, but the dude is a jackass. In OHL he got suspended several times for abusing officials and once for using a racial slur at a teammate. Not a good guy and that hurts his trade value.

That was about five years ago now at this point you have to imagine he's passed that. Cant judge him forever for something he did in the OHL

No, he's just a dick in general. Been traded a few times already despite the talent obviously being there. Still tweets crazy right right wing stuff that pisses off a bunch of fans (not good for business).

People don’t like him because he’s a republican. As a pro he has shown great character and been a great teammate.
